We connect young people and training companies throughout Switzerland. On yousty.ch, young people find their desired apprenticeship, and training companies fill their apprenticeship positions appropriately. To make this work, we need a data engine that runs reliably, is cleanly integrated, and enables smart decisions.

That’s exactly why we are looking for you as a Data Engineer (m/f/d) in our Data & Martech team.

Your tasks

• You operate and further develop our data platform (BigQuery, dbt, Airflow on Google Cloud)
• You build and maintain data integrations to internal and external systems (HubSpot, Metasfresh, Customer.io, GA4, association and customer interfaces)
• You accompany data projects from requirements to operation
• You model data and maintain our pipelines
• You perform analyses for the departments and visualise them in BI tools
• You apply Machine Learning, LLMs and AI where they really add value
• You advise and support the departments so that data-driven decisions become part of everyday life

What you bring

• Several years of experience in building data solutions
• Very good Python and SQL skills
• Experience with relational data models and API interfaces
• You work in a structured way while keeping the big picture in mind
• You communicate well in German and English and understand Swiss German (you don’t have to speak it)
• You like to pitch in, even if a problem is not entirely within your area

This is a plus

• Experience with cloud services (Google Cloud, AWS or Azure) and tools like Airflow
• Experience with dbt and BigQuery
• Event-based architectures
• Predictive analytics, machine learning or LLM-based applications
• Knowledge of Martech solutions (CDP, marketing automation, tracking)
• Linux and sysadmin know-how

As a Data & Martech team, we support all our departments as a cross-sectional team. This makes our work varied and we have a lot of exchange with the employees of Yousty.
