About the job
The Nathalie Foundation supports and cares for children and adolescents with complex developmental disorders. The residential school (KaB) is the provision for four children and adolescents from the canton of Bern with an exceptionally high care requirement, who need inpatient placement in a specialised setting due to challenging behaviours (especially self-harm and harm to others). The children and adolescents are accompanied 365 days a year by an interdisciplinary team.
We are looking for a social pedagogue, a curative educator or a psychologist (in the role of social pedagogue) at 80% to 90% from October 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
- You are interested in intensively supporting children and adolescents, both in acute crisis situations and in longer-term stabilisation phases.
- You take on care and support tasks equally in everyday residential life and leisure, as well as within the framework of schooling (individually tailored educational offers in individual or small group settings).
- Taking on administrative and organisational tasks, preparing and conducting teaching units, active leisure activities, support and development planning, communication with relatives and authorities, key worker duties.
- Taking on on-call night duties.
