Process Technician
Would you like to solve technical challenges directly on site, optimise production processes and at the same time contribute to the further development of innovative solutions in the vehicle manufacturing market? In this exciting position as a Process Technician in die casting, you represent application technology and act as a central interface between customers, development, engineering and customer service – both internationally at the customer’s site and in the test laboratory.
This is where you will excel
- You support the production start-up of new systems directly at the customer’s site – from commissioning and ramping up the system to troubleshooting, fault rectification and optimisation of the casting process.
- You optimise production output and ensure the function and availability of the systems at our international customers.
- You define process parameters, further develop them and actively contribute to the stability, efficiency and quality of production processes in die casting.
- You monitor and analyse quality data, identify causes of rejects and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- You work closely with our development department, support application technology development projects, operate test installations in the test laboratory and are internationally active with travel of up to 60%.
These are the required skills
- Completed training as a plant and apparatus builder, automation technician, polymechanic, electrician, agricultural machinery mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician or a comparable qualification
- Experience in commissioning, process optimisation and application technology in die casting
- Basic knowledge of metallurgy, fluid mechanics and thermodynamics is an advantage
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulic components is desirable
- Good German and English skills as well as willingness to travel internationally up to 60%
