We are currently seeking a Senior Drilling Supervisor M/F for a mission based in Assens, Switzerland.

Job Description

The Senior Drilling Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing on-site drilling operations and ensuring their execution in compliance with HSE requirements, operational procedures, and performance objectives.

Your main duties will be as follows:

• Promote and maintain a strong HSE culture across all site activities
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures
• Coordinate subcontractors, service companies, and field teams
• Supervise daily drilling operations and ensure their smooth running
• Identify operational issues and implement necessary corrective actions
• Contribute to the execution of the drilling programme
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of contractors and service providers
• Participate in risk management and contingency situations
• Ensure effective communication between the various teams working on site

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in onshore Oil & Gas or deep geothermal drilling operations
• Minimum 2 years of experience in continental Europe
• Solid experience in supervising drilling operations
• Experience with MPD operations appreciated
• Excellent leadership and communication skills in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment
• Strong skills in risk management and unforeseen situations
• Strong HSE culture and commitment to health, safety, and environment
• IWCF Level 4 certification required
• OPITO H2S, MIST or BOSIET certifications required
• Valid OEUK medical certificate
• Fluent English / advanced level required

Additional Information

• Location: Assens, Switzerland
• Organisation: 3x3 rotation
• Site operational 24/7
• Start date: 1st January 2027
• Pre-mobilisation planned end of 2026 for internal training
• Duration: 6 months, renewable
• Possibility of continuation on a new project after the mission
• Sector: drilling / energy / deep geothermal
