We welcome you to three exceptional locations situated within the former Bellevue Hotel in Glion, enjoying a spectacular view of Lake Geneva and the Alps. This 19th-century building, overlooking Montreux and the Vaud Riviera, has been at the heart of the prestigious Glion Hotel Management School since 1962. This unique setting houses the Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant and its lounge bar, as well as a contemporary bistro. The dining room of the gourmet restaurant and the magnificent bar, classified as a historical heritage site, skillfully combines modernity, chic, and Belle Époque spirit. The bistro area, meanwhile, has a decidedly contemporary tone and adjoins the gourmet restaurant.
Job Description
AS A HEAD WAITER
- You are responsible for the smooth running of the service and ensure personalized welcome and service quality for our clientele.
- You know the menu perfectly to meet customer expectations.
- You will carry out various service and setup operations in compliance with quality standards and procedures in force.
- Your passion for service makes you a true enthusiast of your profession and your priority is to provide a unique and singular customer experience.
- Mastery of table carving is an asset for this position
- You enjoy passing on knowledge and training the talents of tomorrow
- Have an eco-responsible awareness
- With excellent presentation, you are characterized by your adaptability
- You work as a team player, you enjoy working with the bar and kitchen teams for smooth service.
- Ambitious and dynamic, you want to help the house progress to achieve set ambitions
- Proficiency in English is essential
Qualifications
- Ideally graduated from a hotel training such as BEP/CAP, BAC PRO, BTS, you have significant experience in a similar Michelin-starred position and establishment
- You have excellent presentation and good interpersonal skills. You are motivated, have a keen sense of organization and teamwork.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
