About the job
The Hospitals of Schaffhausen include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Each year, we care for around 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. In addition, we are an important training centre in the canton.
The Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine performs approximately 6,000 anaesthesias annually in a modern environment across a broad spectrum of specialties. The interdisciplinary intensive care unit with 8 beds as well as the emergency service also belong to our area of responsibility.
