Job Profile

Automotive mechatronics technicians carry out system tests on commercial vehicles with combustion engines and alternative drive concepts as well as diagnostic work on mechatronic systems. They also perform maintenance and repair work on vehicle systems. These systems include chassis, engine and drive as well as electrical, electronic, comfort and safety systems. For commercial vehicles, compressed air systems are additionally checked and programmed, and among other things, trailer steering systems and the air suspension system are diagnosed.

Requirements

Completed upper secondary school, usually the final school year
AGVS aptitude test (www.agvs.ch)
German, mathematics and physics at least grade 4.5
