ERP / DMS Responsible Person with Project Responsibility (m/f/d)

More than 400 highly qualified employees work in this specialist field at our partner company, which is regarded as the leading provider of software for ensuring product manufacturability, calculating tool and material costs, tool design, virtual sheet metal forming, and optimising body-in-white processes.
Role:
In this role, you actively shape the further development and maintenance of ERP applications around master data, sales processes, invoicing, and financial accounting in ABAS. You take responsibility for ensuring that the ERP processes used are stable, efficient, and precisely aligned with business requirements. You coordinate and manage ABAS support, prioritise requirements, and ensure a structured implementation of adjustments and optimisations. You analyse existing workflows, identify improvement potentials, and consistently drive their implementation. Through your expertise, you contribute significantly to the ERP system serving as a reliable basis for transparent financial and controlling processes.
Responsibilities:
- You handle and monitor ERP support requests and assist departments with application-specific questions.
- In this role, you plan and lead ABAS projects and coordinate alignment with all relevant stakeholders.
- You analyse and optimise business processes together with the departments and continuously develop the ERP system landscape.
- As head of ERP applications and processes, you administer and monitor the operational operation of the ERP system and ensure its stability.
- You work closely with external ABAS support and ensure efficient coordination of joint activities.
- In this role, you create and maintain documentation on workflows, processes, and system applications and manage the DMS system DocuWare including the interface to the ERP.
Qualifications:
- Completed education (degree or vocational training) in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in supporting and maintaining ERP systems
- Proven experience in leading and coordinating projects
- Strong initiative as well as an independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Team orientation and enjoyment in collaborating with various stakeholders
- Very good communication and expression skills in German and English
