YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
• System responsibility for electrical vehicle components, especially low-voltage onboard networks, drive and traction systems, lighting systems, as well as other electrical and mechatronic subsystems.
• Development and coordination of technical concepts, specifications, and integration solutions in close cooperation with internal departments and external partners.
• Creation and maintenance of manufacturing- and assembly-ready engineering documents, such as wiring diagrams, cable lists, device lists, and technical specifications.
• Technical support of suppliers, including requirement definition, interface clarification, design reviews, and approvals.
• Support of implementation in assembly, production, and commissioning as well as technical assistance during functional, type, and acceptance tests.
• Conducting analyses, clarifications, and variant evaluations to develop robust and economical modernization solutions.
• Collaboration with customers, testing bodies, and experts as well as support in approval matters.
• Accompanying projects through all phases, from concept definition through engineering and integration to testing and approval.
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Completed studies (FH/University) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in the railway environment, ideally in system or vehicle technology.
• Good knowledge of relevant railway-specific standards and guidelines (e.g., EN, TSI) is an advantage.
• Structured and solution-oriented working style with a high quality awareness.
• Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and sense of responsibility.
• Very good German skills, good English skills in spoken and written form.
