Swimming Specialist Teacher 2 WL
For the school unit Untermosen the Wädenswil Primary School is looking for a Swimming Specialist Teacher (2 weekly lessons, Mondays from 10 am to 12 pm) from 1 August 2026
You bring with you
- High safety awareness: Consistent monitoring of safety rules in and around the water
- Pedagogical skill: Patient, motivating and playful approach to different learning levels
- Empathy: Sensitivity in dealing with children who are afraid of water
- Reliability: Punctuality and conscientiousness regarding supervisory duties
Your tasks
- Planning and conducting swimming lessons according to the guidelines of Curriculum 21
- Promoting water familiarisation and teaching swimming techniques
- Ensuring the safety of all pupils throughout the entire lesson
- Collaboration with class teachers and pool staff
Requirements
- Valid Brevet Plus Pool from the Swiss Life Saving Society (SLG)
- Current BLS-AED module course (cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillator)
- Teaching qualification
- Experience in teaching swimming to children aged 6 to 12 years
