Your mission:

Within the Automation & Control unit, you work as an automation engineer in the context of continuous improvement projects for automation, network, and SCADA at the Nant de Drance site. You also provide support to the operation engineers of the facility.

Your responsibilities:

• Program improvements and new functionalities of industrial controllers on site and carry out commissioning of the modified parts
• Assume the role of technical support for the operation engineers
• Participate in weekly meetings with the operator and handle alarms and open points related to automation
• Be the privileged technical contact for automation suppliers on site
• Participate in process improvement studies to increase safety, cybersecurity, and production availability

Your skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in automation engineering (HES/EPF)
• Proficiency with Siemens controllers (Step 7 and TIA Portal)
• Knowledge of ABB AC 800M and/or B&R automation is a plus
• Experience in hydroelectric facilities, knowledge of automation systems
• Ability to work on heterogeneous installations
• Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language
• Proficiency in English
