About the job
"Fugu" nurseries are a private enterprise aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. Our nursery is located directly at Dialogplatz in the centre of Lokstadt. We are only a few minutes' walk from Winterthur station, and the nearest bus stop is also close by. We have 300 m2 of bright, modern, and spacious rooms at our disposal, which we have developed and furnished to be child-friendly. The nursery is organised into 3 groups. Opening hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
How brave are you? Working with children is full of life, and you will certainly never be bored. As an intern, you will gain your first experiences in the professional world. We accompany you on your journey with care and empathy and support you with our expertise. You will learn the basics of childcare and will be allowed to take on increasing responsibility. It is important to us that your backpack is full of knowledge and experience by the end of the internship year. This way, you will feel ready to start training as a childcare professional.
TASKS
• Collaborate in the meaningful and appropriate organisation of daily routines
• Support the group leader in managing the children’s group according to the educational principles of "Fugu" nurseries
• Gain initial professional experience under guidance
• Co-organise celebrations, festivals, and events
REQUIREMENTS
• Completed compulsory schooling
• Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Reliable and resilient
• Self-reflection, willingness to develop further
• Good manners
