Tasks
- As a case manager, you are responsible for supporting the integration process of provisionally admitted and recognized refugees (VA/FL). You conduct potential assessments and develop an integration plan together with the clients. You initiate and accompany the measures recorded therein to promote linguistic and professional integration.
- As the case-leading authority, you work closely with German course organizations, social workers, job coaches, and other integration agencies, coordinating the various measures. Documenting the case progress and managing the files are also part of your responsibilities.
Expectations
- For this demanding task, you have a tertiary-level degree (advanced technical college, university of applied sciences, university), for example in social work. Ideally, you also have further training in case management and/or work experience as a case manager. You have experience in individual case work and are accustomed to managing files and creating target agreements or integration plans.
- You have knowledge of asylum and refugee affairs, social assistance, and integration promotion or are willing to quickly acquire this knowledge. You enjoy working with people from different cultures. You have strong communication and social skills and are adept at dealing with various stakeholders.
