The WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF is part of the Federal Research Institute WSL and thus belongs to the ETH domain. WSL is concerned with the sustainable use and protection of the environment as well as responsible management of natural hazards. It employs around 600 staff, of which 180 work at the SLF in Davos.
Cafeteria Assistant approx. 15% (m/f/d)
The Operations Unit Davos is the central service office for the SLF. It is responsible for providing and ensuring the smooth functioning of the infrastructure for the various research units with their diverse research projects. For our cafeteria team, we are looking for a immediate start (limited to 2 years)
As part of the cafeteria team, you will operate the cafeteria as a holiday replacement from 2:45 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. (year-round, more during school holidays; average employment level is between 10-20% per year). This task includes operating the coffee machine and cash register, washing dishes, and selling various cafeteria items.
You are flexible with your time, motivated to regularly step in as an employee during the afternoon coffee break, and enjoy contact with people from a multicultural environment. Good German skills are necessary and English skills are an advantage. You are also used to working independently, cleanly, and efficiently.
