Medical Scientific Liaison Specialty Care (m/f/d) – Central Switzerland (Basel, Bern, Lucerne, Aarau)
The position offers scientific and medical engagement with leading external experts and opinion leaders (KOLs) in specialized therapy areas to professionally communicate new data and scientific insights about GSK medicines in specialized therapy areas.
Main tasks:
- Identification and prioritization of external experts/KOLs as well as development of robust medical engagement plans.
- Promotion of scientific collaboration between external experts and internal stakeholders; support of educational initiatives, innovative medical projects in strategic partnerships, and strengthening presence in academic centers.
- Conducting scientific peer-to-peer conversations and presentations for physicians (both in one-on-one and group settings).
- Collection of valuable insights and internal communication.
- Responding to medical inquiries to ensure the appropriate use of GSK medicines.
- Support of clinical development projects and research initiatives.
- Participation in national and international scientific conferences to collaborate with professionals.
- Compliance with local and global laws, regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications & skills:
- Completed degree in healthcare or an MSc or PhD in natural sciences.
- Professional experience as a Medical Scientific Liaison, Medical Manager, or in a similar position with expert collaboration in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience in treating inflammatory diseases in pulmonology, immunology, or other specialties.
- Understanding of clinical research methods.
- Skills: stakeholder engagement, cross-departmental collaboration, insight generation, presentation skills.
- Fluent German and good English skills. Additional languages (French, Italian) would be an advantage.
