Company Description

The Geneva Foundation for Sociocultural Animation is a partnership institution, funded by the Canton and the municipalities, whose mission is to promote and maintain social cohesion in the canton of Geneva, that is to ensure the quality of the relationship between individuals and society. Through socio-educational, sociocultural and associative field actions carried out by the centres and outreach teams, the foundation meets the population's needs in terms of meeting, exchange, solidarity, citizenship, quality of life, with the general aim of preventing social exclusion.

A vacancy within the Grand-Saconnex Leisure Centre association for a cleaner position at 51.30%.

Job Description

Maintain the various premises and surfaces, floors, stairs, tiles, windows and lighting used during our receptions at the Leisure Centre, with appropriate products
Be able to use various tools and machines (vacuum cleaner, floor polisher, scrubber dryer, etc.)
Independently ensure the cleaning of toilets, sinks and kitchen equipment
Report any damage or deterioration observed to the animation team
Manage the equipment as well as the stock of cleaning products, signalling missing items
Be responsible for opening and closing the premises in accordance with received instructions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in premises cleaning, particularly in the use of industrial cleaning machines and specific products
Good physical condition: ability to move furniture and objects, to clean windows (work at height)
Ability to work independently and to assume this role alone on site.

Additional Information

Salary according to the Geneva State pay scale: maximum class 4
Weekly hours: 20 hours per week, early every morning from Monday to Friday, but flexibility required depending on animation projects, occasionally on Saturdays.
Good interpersonal skills are essential, both with the animation team and users
Start date: 11 January 2027
