About the job
The Cantonal Health Centre Appenzell ensures high-quality healthcare and care in old age for the population of Appenzell and Innerrhoden.
For our Economy/Housekeeping team, we are looking for a Laundry Staff member (80%) from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
Your Tasks
- Collaboration in all areas of the laundry (dirty area, risk area, finishing area, sewing area and distribution service)
- Co-responsible for the timely processing of private and operational laundry
We Expect
- Completed training as a Housekeeping Specialist EFZ
- Sound knowledge in handling textiles and washing chemicals
- Previous experience in a home/hospital or large laundry is desirable
- Independent, motivated and proactive personality
- Responsible way of thinking and acting
- Flexible availability and high resilience
- Good German skills, dialect an advantage
- Calmness and patience in dealing with residents, patients and their relatives
- Strong service orientation
