Role:
In this role, you are responsible for the development and management of medical applications that enable people with spinal cord injuries to live as independently as possible. You work interdisciplinarily with over 2,000 highly qualified specialists from more than 100 professional groups and ensure that innovative IT solutions optimally support medical processes. You lead and coordinate complex projects in medical application development and ensure the quality, safety, and further development of the systems used. You ensure the availability and performance of the medical application landscape for internal and external stakeholders and contribute your expertise specifically to strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you lead and further develop the team for clinical applications both professionally and personally.
- You plan and manage projects in the area of clinical applications and ensure efficient capacity planning.
- You implement, configure, and optimise clinical applications and resolve disruptions during ongoing operations.
- As Head of Medical Application Development, you work closely with clinical departments, analyse their needs, and adapt applications purposefully.
- You ensure support and continuous training of medical staff in handling the applications.
- You contribute to strategic decisions regarding digital infrastructure and support compliance with data protection and information security requirements.
Qualifications:
- You have successfully completed studies in (medical) informatics, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- You have several years of leadership experience and know how to lead and develop different personalities clearly, empathetically, and effectively.
- You are well acquainted with working with clinical professionals and implementing ICT solutions in healthcare.
- You possess solid experience in implementing and supporting clinical applications, ideally in a leadership role, including resource planning and project management.
- You are characterised by a solution-oriented, communicative, and customer-focused working style.
- You can bring together different perspectives, set clear priorities, and represent decisions transparently.
