iwaz as a multi-sector company combines assistance and integration services in various settings in the fields of housing, day structure, and vocational integration with different partners in society. In doing so, we take alternative paths to promote inclusion and dissolve special spaces.

Our assisted living is a living space for people with multiple disabilities. This includes three residential homes as well as a day activity programme. We offer medical-nursing care and practical life support – interdisciplinary provided by nursing teams and educational assistants.

For the succession of our current Head of Residential Services, we are looking for an experienced healthcare professional at FH/HF level who is eager to jointly develop suitable assistance and living spaces for the inclusive housing and site concept.

As the future Head of Residential Services and Member of the Executive Board, you will take on a key role in our institution. You will lead and further develop the residential area together with the department heads and the educational support, ensuring that our assistance mandate is implemented professionally, humanely, and with high quality.

Your opportunity
This position offers you a special perspective: you will be specifically trained and prepared for the role of nursing management in the IFEG specialised nursing home sector with the assumption of the Head of Residential Services role and will take over the function from October 2027.

• You lead and develop our nursing and practical life assistance services oriented towards inclusive living spaces and provide guidance to the teams.
• You create structures where quality, professionalism, and humanity belong together.
• You advance processes, recognise development potential, and initiate changes.
• You work closely with the Educational Support to implement practical life assistance.
• You promote a constructive culture of error and conflict and create an environment where people can take responsibility.
• You are responsible for performance recording with IBB/Rai and bear the budget responsibility for the residential area.
• As a member of the executive board, you contribute your perspective and actively shape the strategic development of our social enterprise.

• Training in healthcare at FH/HF level
• Solid medical-nursing expertise
• Leadership experience, ideally at ward or department management level
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility and remaining calm and solution-oriented even in demanding situations
• Willingness to engage with social issues and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• Good business understanding or the curiosity and willingness to acquire it
• A leadership attitude that is clear, appreciative, and development-oriented
