Start date: October 2027
Make the world a little safer!
Start your career in auditing – work on national and international audit projects and learn from experienced colleagues. Your work directly contributes to stakeholders having confidence in financial reporting. That is real responsibility from day one.
How to apply
Do you want to make a difference? Then apply now! We look forward to receiving your application. Click on "apply now" and submit your complete application – including CV, cover letter, references and certificates.
After receiving your application, we will invite you to our Audit Application Day on 4 November – a half-day assessment event where you can get to know our team. From 14:00 to 18:00 at our Zurich office, you will experience inspiring presentations, exciting activities and a networking aperitif with your potential future colleagues. In speed interviews, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your skills and motivation – and have the chance to secure a contract to start your career with us in October 2027.
What to expect and how you can make an "Impact that matters"
- Direct client contact from day one – you will make a relevant and important contribution to the audit of group and annual financial statements according to Swiss and international accounting standards, directly at our clients’ premises, in the office or from home.
- "Fast-track" career path – you will benefit from a structured career path with continuous training in technical and social skills, as well as our support in your qualification as a Swiss Certified Public Accountant.
- Diverse tasks with increasing responsibility – you will face new challenges every day. Depending on the assignment, you will assist with process understanding, analysis of balance sheet and income statement items, control tests, detailed tests and inventories. With increasing experience, you will conduct client interviews independently, apply analytical audit procedures and coordinate tasks with the extended team.
- Deloitte Way of Working – you will use our audit tool OMNIA, which integrates AI-supported technologies to perform risk-based and data-driven audits. In doing so, you will develop skills in data analysis and digital audit methods, which are essential in modern auditing.
What you bring
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (university or university of applied sciences) in economics, ideally with a focus on audit, accounting, finance or controlling, and some practical experience.
- You have excellent analytical skills, a quick grasp and enjoy solving complex tasks efficiently and precisely.
- You come with a positive and results-oriented attitude as well as the willingness to take responsibility and find individual solutions for our clients.
- You are motivated to complete the training as a Swiss Certified Public Accountant at ExpertSuisse (https://www.expertsuisse.ch/ausbildung).
- Excellent German and good English skills.
Additional advantages
- Practical experience in audit, accounting, fiduciary, finance/controlling
- Excel skills, data analysis & data management – confident handling of data, affinity for modern analysis tools and technologies.
- Organisational talent and structured thinking – you keep an overview of several tasks simultaneously and communicate progress and challenges transparently and proactively.
