About the job
The Municipality of Ecublens is looking for a pedagogical manager for after-school care. Activity rate at 85%, annualised hours over 44 weeks.
The APEMS of Ecublens play a central role in the municipal family policy, welcoming a significant number of children daily within the inter-municipal AJESOL network. The School and After-School Activities Service is seeking a pedagogical manager to join a committed team and contribute to providing quality care within an 80-place care facility.
Your profile:
- ES or HES diploma according to LAJE requirements, obtained at least 5 years ago.
- At least 2 years of professional experience with children.
- CAS in team leadership, federal management certificate or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in team leadership; strong organisational and project management skills.
- Forward-thinking and initiative; autonomy and sense of responsibility.
- Accounting and budget management knowledge.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a network (municipal services, school, families, AJESOL).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; Kibe and Kikan software is an asset.
Main missions:
- Place the well-being and development of children at the heart of the mission by cultivating a close and trusting relationship with families.
- Maintain and develop the educational project of the facility within a collective dynamic and ensure its compliance with current regulations.
- Lead the educational team with clarity and commitment, creating favourable conditions for reflective practice, skills development, and involvement of each member.
- Ensure the administrative and financial management of the facility, in liaison with the Service Management, administrative staff, and the AJESOL care network.
