Job Description
The perfect apprenticeship for networked thinkers, highly organised and customer-oriented all-rounders who want to be prepared for the working world of tomorrow!
You will take on diverse administrative and organisational tasks at various locations and training sites of ETH:
- Implementation of marketing and communication activities
- Advising and supporting customers
- Carrying out project management tasks and taking responsibility in sub-projects
- Use of digital tools, IT systems and communication channels at ETH
- Developing solutions in a team and taking on responsibility
- Planning and organising events
- Understanding and implementing processes in accounting
You will start your first semester of training with a basic course in the commercial training laboratory of ETH Zurich at the Zurich-Oerlikon site. In a team with your fellow learners, you will get to know ETH as an organisation as well as fundamental commercial processes and the IT environment in four training modules. This basic knowledge enables you to participate actively and confidently with commercial competence at the subsequent changing training locations in a department or administrative unit and to advance your professional development. During the three-year training, you will get to know the diversity of ETH. We offer you the framework for professional and personal development.
Profile
You can express yourself very well orally and in writing, are flexible, sociable and responsible. Planning and organisation, communication as well as independent and self-responsible thinking and working suit you. In addition, you are interested in digital tools.
You need a compulsory school leaving certificate for this vocational training and good grades in the following school subjects:
- German
- English
- French
- Certificate for touch typing (by the start of training)
