Description
- Process biweekly, semimonthly, or monthly payroll cycles with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain payroll records, employee information, and timekeeping data.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including wage and hour regulations, tax withholdings, and reporting requirements.
- Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, bonuses, and commissions.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and finance teams.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data, benefits deductions, and new hire entries.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll, tax forms, and direct deposits.
Profile
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist, Payroll Administrator, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in both French and English
