Physics Teacher
Graubünden Cantonal School | 80-100% (part-time employment with option to increase over the next two years) | Chur
The Graubünden Cantonal School is an important educational institution with around 1000 pupils from all three cantonal languages. As a section of the Office for Upper Secondary Education, it offers upper secondary school education cycles at the grammar school with long and short courses as well as at the specialised school, commercial school and computer science school. As a physics teacher, you will teach pupils at the grammar school.
For our school, we are looking for one or two physics teachers starting 1 August 2027. The advertised employment level can be divided and increased up to a total of 180% over the following two school years. If you have a teaching qualification in a second subject, it is possible to be employed at 100% during the indicated period.
- Teaching physics at the grammar school
- Organising and conducting project weeks, class events and excursions in a team with other teachers
- Taking on various tasks within the team of teachers of the same subject
- Collaborating on development projects for the entire school
- University degree in physics as well as teaching qualification for grammar schools
- Experience teaching at upper secondary level and qualification in a second subject are advantageous
- Flexibility, initiative, ability to work in a team and enjoyment of working with young people. We are also looking for a communicative person who takes responsibility and is happy to engage in school life
- Knowledge of other cantonal languages complements your profile as a teacher at the trilingual school
