Without the SBB, the country comes to a standstill. And without you, the SBB does too. You make a valuable contribution to the supply of Switzerland. You will complete training as a signal box operator with a final examination. The practical and theoretical training lasts about 2 months with full pay.

This is what you can achieve.

• As a signal box operator, you operate the signal box in the former marshalling yard Olten. You change points, create shunting routes/paths, operate relevant signals and grant permissions for shunting movements.
• You monitor, schedule and control the shunting traffic.
• The shunting movements are coordinated with the involved partners.
• You guarantee operational safety in compliance with safety regulations and, if necessary, using checklists.
• In the 24-hour operation of the SBB, you work in shifts. Irregular working hours and weekend shifts are the norm with us. In return, you enjoy days off during the week and can thus enjoy your leisure activities flexibly and outside the hustle and bustle.

• As a signal box operator, you bring several years of operational experience and are not afraid to use simple PC systems.
• Safety-conscious thinking and acting, teamwork, independence and reliability are your strengths.
• You enjoy communicating with various partners.
• You have good knowledge of the German language (at least level B2).
• You enjoy working in 24/7 shift work.
