JOB PURPOSE
The School Shop Relocation Support Staff will assist with the physical move of the School Shop to its new premises. The role is operational and hands-on, ensuring that stock, furniture and equipment are safely transferred, organised and installed in line with the new store layout.
This position requires reliability, efficiency, attention to detail and respect for Aiglon College property and brand standards.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Stock Preparation & Handling
-
Assist with packing and labelling merchandise
-
Organise products by category (uniform, branded, unbranded, accessories, etc.)
-
Support stock control and basic inventory checks
-
Ensure fragile or high-value items are handled carefully
-
Help maintain clear tracking during the transfer process
Physical Move & Installation
-
Transport boxes, rails, shelving and equipment (as instructed)
-
Assist with dismantling and reassembling fixtures if required
-
Support installation of new shelving, rails and displays
-
Follow layout instructions for product placement
Store Set-Up in New Premises
-
Unpack and organise stock according to merchandising plan
-
Assist with steaming uniforms and preparing products for display

Ensure pricing labels and signage are correctly positioned

Help prepare the store for reopening
Organisation & Cleanliness
-
Keep working areas safe and tidy at all times

Dispose of packaging materials appropriately

Follow health & safety guidelines
Working Conditions

Temporary assignment linked to the relocation period

OTHER TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Undertake any other tasks which may be reasonably required by the School Shop Manager to assist in the smooth running of the School Shop

Understand and implement all school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding children and young people

Understand the School’s Guiding Principles and uphold the ethos of the School at all times
