For our ROCKEN partner, you are responsible for the operational procurement of technical components and ensure a reliable supply of materials for ongoing operations. You work closely with suppliers, production, and various internal departments and contribute to efficient procurement processes with your technical understanding.
Responsibilities:
Procure technical spare parts and materials on time
Request and obtain quotations from suppliers and compare prices and delivery options
Place orders based on internal requirements and monitor them until delivery
Monitor delivery dates, identify deviations early, and initiate appropriate measures
Coordinate technical specifications with suppliers and internal contacts
Maintain and update article and master data in the ERP system
Support internal teams with questions regarding technical procurement
Organise material transports or urgent procurements if necessary
Qualifications:
Completed technical apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by further training in procurement
Several years of experience in technical purchasing or a comparable procurement function
Confident understanding of technical drawings and technical documentation
Good user knowledge of MS Office and ideally SAP
Independent, structured, and responsible working style
Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a high quality awareness
Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
