Plant and Equipment Builder Long-term Welder Job – Permanent Position in Prospect

Tasks

Manufacture of demanding welded components for gas turbines and partly for aerospace according to drawings and technical specifications
Manual TIG welding of nickel-based alloys, stainless steel and Inconel alloys
Welding work on robotic systems as well as on circumferential and longitudinal welding machines
Perform orbital and spot welding work
Create, document and update work papers and welding instructions
Record and report operational data
Perform general tinsmith work such as grinding, straightening and bending
Ensure high quality and timely production

Requirements

Completed apprenticeship as a plant and equipment builder or a comparable technical education
Further training in welding is an advantage
Welder certifications according to EN ISO 9606-4 are an advantage
Solid practical experience in TIG welding is an advantage
Independent, careful and responsible working style
Enjoyment of demanding and technically challenging welding work
Reliability, flexibility and resilience
Willingness to work early and late shifts
Good knowledge of German
