About the job
We offer people with disabilities 15 residential places and a total of 26 employment or sheltered workplaces. Self-determination and participation in everyday life are important concerns for us. We also aim to support the residents towards the greatest possible independence, especially in practical life skills.
We are looking for a Social Pedagogy internship for the residential area from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027 for HF/FH students: a professional internship for "clinical curative education" at the University of Fribourg and/or a year-long internship for Social Pedagogy HF BFF Bern.
Area of responsibility:
- Care and support of seven adults with disabilities
- Organisation of the residents' daily living and leisure activities
- Support of residents within the key worker system
- Organisational and administrative tasks
- Participation in team meetings and internal training sessions
Requirements:
- Interest in supporting and assisting adults with disabilities
- Willingness to learn and motivation
- Open and positive attitude
- Balanced, humorous and communicative personality
- Willingness to work flexible, irregular hours including weekends and on-call duties
