Your contribution to our vision | Your commitment

• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting: Carrying out preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on high, medium and low voltage systems, motor control centres (MCC), power distribution systems and auxiliary systems.

• Measurement technology and calibration (MSR): Calibration, inspection and maintenance of measuring instruments, sensors, control valves, transmitters and analytical gas measurement systems (for analysing oxygen, nitrogen and argon purity).

• Automation and process control: Performing diagnostics, fault finding and minor software/hardware adjustments on programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) under the guidance of our engineers.

• Compliance with electrical safety regulations: Ensuring that all on-site installations comply with Swiss electrical regulations (NIV, ESTI). Participation in regular internal safety audits and technical inspections.

• Project support and overhauls: Coordinating electrical modifications on site, commissioning new systems and assisting with major plant overhauls.

• On-call duty: Participating in local on-call duty (approx. 6–8 weeks per year) to resolve electrical emergencies and thus ensure continuous customer supply and 24/7 operational safety of the plant.

Convincing all round | Your profile

• Technical training: Completed vocational training (EFZ) as an automation technician, electrician, electrical installer or network electrician (or equivalent technical qualification).

• Electrician licence: A Swiss operational electrician permit according to Art. 13 NIV is highly desirable, alternatively the entitlement and willingness to acquire it immediately.

• Professional experience: Proven experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in an industrial environment, ideally in chemical processing, oil and gas industry or process automation.

• Technical skills: Sound knowledge in circuit diagrams, pneumatics, hydraulics and process instrumentation. Experience with PLC and DCS systems is a great advantage.

• Languages: English is a MUST. German is a big PLUS.

• Soft skills: Independent, analytical, strong safety awareness, resilient and communicative within the team.
