The Aargau Animal Protection Association ATs is an important contact point for the public when it comes to animal neglect or cruelty. In our animal shelter, we accompany dogs, cats and small animals into a new life. At the same time, we also care for holiday animals.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an animal caretaker EFZ or FBA with experience (80–100%)
Your tasks
You get involved, think ahead and are close to the animals:
- Care, supervision & feeding of our animals
- Observation of behaviour and health condition
- Support with veterinary treatments
- Promotion of occupation, training & socialisation
- Accompaniment of adoptions
- Assistance with administrative tasks
Your profile
You are not only professionally strong but also personable:
- Training as an animal caretaker EFZ or FBA with experience
- Experience with dogs & cats
- Empathy, clear communication & sense of responsibility
- Independent, resilient and team-oriented
- Flexible for assignments on weekends & public holidays
