What you can achieve.

• As Logistics Team Leader, you are responsible for the personnel and professional leadership of 5 employees and 2 logistics apprentices at the locations St. Gallen, Romanshorn, Wil, Weinfelden and St. Margrethen.
• You take on operational tasks in day-to-day logistics and, together with your team, ensure error-free and timely material availability under economic aspects.
• For the partners in your area, you are the first point of contact and ensure the agreed logistics activities. In addition, you work on various projects and take on the management of sub-projects in your specialist area.
• You manage the warehouses according to quantitative, qualitative and economic criteria to continuously optimise the storage volume and inventory value - in line with the service concept.
• In your role, you promote and support the development of your team according to SBB's leadership principles. You plan and organise workflows, monitor the proper and timely completion of tasks and ensure the required service times.

What you bring with you.

• You are a convincing and integrative personality with high communication skills and possess assertiveness and implementation qualities.
• With your winning and enthusiastic manner, it is easy for you to initiate new solutions. Ideally, you have practical experience with agile working methods.
• You have at least three years of leadership experience in logistics with a technical background. You successfully apply your project management experience. You use your very good knowledge of MS Office and SAP routinely in everyday work.
• A completed vocational training as a logistician is a prerequisite. Additionally, you have completed further training (e.g. logistics specialist, leadership specialist) and use this knowledge profitably.
• Fluent German skills (at least C1) are required; knowledge of a second national language is an advantage.
