What you can contribute
- Independently respond to legal questions in German, French and English
- Review and process purchase contracts and other contracts in German, French and English
- Conduct research and draft legal clarifications in various areas of law (labour law, intellectual property, agricultural law, animal protection law, contract law, etc.) in German, French and English
- Represent Agroscope in appeal procedures and before courts
- Legally monitor projects and, where applicable, manage them, organise internal legal training
What makes you unique
- Law degree
- Several years of professional experience in a law firm, administration or company. Experience in advising business partners as well as an interest or experience in labour law is an advantage
- Open, flexible, receptive and structured personality, able to handle pressure and easily integrate into a small team
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of two official languages and English

Agroscope is the Confederation's centre of expertise for research in the fields of agriculture and the food sector. Researchers carry out their activities at various sites in Switzerland. The main headquarters is located in Bern-Liebefeld (from 2026: Posieux FR). Agroscope is affiliated with the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research EAER.
Additional information
The Legal Service advises members of the management committee as well as Agroscope employees on all legal issues related to their professional activity. It reviews contracts concluded by Agroscope and ensures compliance with legislative provisions relating to public procurement, data protection and transparency. It also provides support in the legislative process and procedures involving Agroscope, particularly in the area of executive tasks.
