For our ROCKEN partner, a publicly listed, globally active industrial company, we are seeking a strategically minded leader to strengthen the Corporate Finance team.
In this central key position, you will manage the group’s worldwide tax matters and act as a competent sparring partner for corporate controlling as well as the global finance and management team. You will take responsibility in a small, experienced team where professionalism, quality, and enjoyment of challenging tasks are highly valued.
Responsibilities:
You define, develop, and implement the global tax strategy and ensure a group-wide tax governance framework
You are responsible for worldwide tax compliance as well as tax calculations in the financial statements and monitor global tax developments including OECD initiatives (Pillar 2, QDMTT, IIR, GIR, CbCR) and ESG requirements
You maintain and further develop the global transfer pricing system, ensure intercompany agreements and documentation requirements (Master/Local File), and monitor rebates and mark-ups
You lead tax due diligence in M&A projects and review VAT effects of changes in global trade flows
You manage worldwide tax audits, obtain withholding tax reliefs, and work closely with internal audit
You plan, prepare, and submit the tax returns of the Swiss group company (including top-up tax) and are responsible for Swiss VAT as well as tax calculations for the statutory annual financial statements
Qualifications:
You have a completed university degree in business administration or law with a focus on tax law as well as additional training as a certified tax expert or an equivalent qualification
You bring at least 8 years of relevant professional experience in the tax field, ideally in an international industrial environment and/or at a Big4 firm
You possess sound knowledge of national and international tax and corporate law and are confident in using modern systems (SAP, Cognos advantageous)
You have very good German and English skills
You convince as a assertive, integral leader with strategic thinking, high social competence, and the ability to communicate complex tax topics clearly
