Industrial Painter – Vocational Trainer
Activities
- Sanding metal parts for better paint adhesion
- Masking and putty work according to drawing
- Wet painting of metal and plastic components for indoor and outdoor use
- Performing and monitoring the drying process in the paint oven
- Post-inspection of painted components, rework if necessary
- Professional training of apprentices according to the curriculum
- Goal-oriented leadership and promotion of apprentices
- Preparation of training reports
- Conducting trial apprenticeships
Requirements
- Training as an industrial painter or car painter
- Proficient in painting different paint qualities and textures
- Experience handling 2-component paints, solvents, and water-based paints
- Knowledge in handling painting systems with double diaphragm pumps and 2-component systems
- Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
- Very precise and structured way of working
- Maintains respectful interaction with superiors, apprentices, and colleagues
- Supports leadership and team decisions and acts as a role model
