Data Engineer - DWH & SQL (m/f/d)

In this role, you develop and optimise data pipelines as well as the central data platform, including the integration of new data sources. You create complex data compilations from various source systems using SQL and automate loading processes to optimise the DWH environment. Additionally, you support data analysts in identifying and specifying cross-functional data use cases and ensure data quality, monitoring, and continuous improvement of data flows. Furthermore, you contribute to the development of guidelines and policies for data collection, preparation, and usage.
Responsibilities:
You build data pipelines and further develop the central data platform including new data sources
You apply your SQL skills for complex data queries and automated loading processes
You work closely with data analysts in implementing data use cases
You take responsibility for high data quality through monitoring, optimisation, and further development of data flows
You actively contribute to guidelines and policies regarding data usage
Qualifications:
Education or further training in (business) computer science as well as several years of experience in data warehousing or software development
Excellent SQL knowledge and experience in data processing distinguish you
Python, Snowflake, dbt or Azure Data Factory are a plus
Very good German skills, both spoken and written, as well as enthusiasm for the interface between business and IT are required
