Context

Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in care, research and training.
Within the Hospitality Service (Hospital Logistics Department – DLOH), you work in a dynamic network of sales points and collective catering (distribution, front-cooking, catering events). Our mission: to ensure food adapted to patients, offer a varied and seasonal culinary offer, promote regional products, manage the central food production, deploy a hotel floor service and support internal events. Here, you develop a sought-after versatility between reception, service, preparation, management and quality.
Mission
- You welcome internal/external customers and participate in catering events and functions
- You perform service (at the table, lunch/dinner distribution chain, front-cooking) ensuring a smooth and friendly experience
- You prepare and present products and dishes (setup, plating, restocking, displays)
- You contribute to the preparation of themed events and apply company processes (quality, traceability, tools)
- You master and control the supply chain from purchase to sale; you monitor costs, budgets and stocks
- You apply hygiene (HACCP) and safety standards, and ensure cleaning related to your activity
- You participate in scheduling staff hours and activity reporting.
Profile
- You have completed your compulsory schooling
- You have teamwork skills and a real sense of hospitality
- You take care of your appearance, value hygiene and cleanliness
- You are flexible for irregular hours (sometimes evenings/nights) and have good physical endurance
- Assets: fluency in French (and service English), affinity for numbers (costs/stocks), sense of organization and responsibility.
