Would you like to prepare our customers for their next mountain adventure together with a dedicated, well-coordinated team and inspire them with your extensive expertise in mountain sports? Will you take responsibility for the branch together with the branch manager and are motivated to advance the location? Then we are looking for you from September 2026 or by arrangement as Deputy Branch Manager for our branch in Aarau.

Bächli Bergsport is the leading Swiss specialist shop for mountaineering, climbing, expeditions, hiking, ski touring and snowshoeing. In eleven sales branches in German-speaking Switzerland, two sales branches in French-speaking Switzerland and one branch in Ticino, we offer our discerning customers the best products and brands, expert advice and top-class service.

• Together with the branch manager, you lead the branch with a customer- and success-oriented approach, pursue branch and company goals and proactively support the personnel management of employees and apprentices.
• On the sales floor, you are the expert for the mountain sports area and pass on your knowledge to department heads and employees.
• You take time to advise our customers and leave a good feeling on both sides.
• Customer service and support are just as important to you and you organise the processing within the team.
• You actively support all other tasks in the branch, especially in the training of apprentices, and develop yourself and the entire team further.

• You actively practise mountain sports (e.g. climbing, high-altitude tours, ski touring) and convey your passion for the mountains both to our customers and within the team.
• You have completed an apprenticeship as a retail specialist and have already gained several years of professional experience, preferably in the sporting goods industry.
• You also bring leadership experience in sales. Experience in training apprentices would be a plus.
• You have successfully demonstrated process skills in the administrative area and good computer skills in your previous activities.
• You are a team player and enjoy passing on your knowledge.
