For our client, an established organisation in the logistics and service sector, we are looking for a committed and responsible individual as Deputy Head of Logistics East (m/f/d). In this versatile leadership role, you will support the Head of Logistics in daily operations and share responsibility for smooth warehouse operations. You will lead employees in their daily work, optimise processes, and ensure timely and high-quality logistics together with your team.

Your Tasks

• Support and deputise for the Head of Logistics in daily operations
• Professional leadership, supervision, and support of employees in warehouse operations
• Ensuring an efficient flow of goods from goods receipt through storage to goods dispatch
• Planning, coordination, and optimisation of logistical processes and resources
• Ensuring compliance with quality, hygiene, safety, and process requirements
• Assisting with the induction and training of new employees
• Handling administrative tasks as well as creating and maintaining plans and documentation
• Supporting complaints handling, projects, and cross-departmental tasks
• Participation in operational warehouse activities and occasional transport duties
• Assuming overall responsibility for the logistics area during the absence of the Head

Your Profile

• Completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ or comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics or supply chain
• Initial experience in professional leadership of employees is an advantage
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Confident use of MS Office and experience with warehouse management systems is an advantage
• Forklift licence as well as driving licence category B; category C is an advantage
• Strong social skills and appreciative leadership style
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working method
• Resilient, flexible, and responsible personality
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
