As a Product Manager, you contribute to the further development of one or more products from our product portfolio and gradually take on responsibility along the entire product lifecycle.
Together with experienced Product Managers, development teams, and subject matter experts, you analyse customer needs, legal changes, and professional requirements, further develop product ideas, and help ensure that our products are developed further in a professionally meaningful, high-quality, and sustainable manner.
In a highly regulated environment, you learn to balance legal requirements, customer demands, technical possibilities, and available resources against each other. In doing so, you make an important contribution to maintaining existing products stably while simultaneously developing them purposefully towards the future.
What you achieve
Product Responsibility & Strategy
Participation in the further development of products throughout the entire lifecycle – from analysis through development to launch
Support in the creation and maintenance of product vision, product strategy, and product roadmap in coordination with experienced Product Managers, Portfolio Management, Business Owners, and relevant stakeholders
Preparation of decision-making bases regarding costs, benefits, impacts, and priorities of product initiatives
Participation in assessing conflicts of objectives between legal requirements, customer demands, technical feasibility, and available resources
Gradual assumption of own product responsibility – depending on experience, maturity, and complexity of the product
Requirements Management & Product Design
Systematic collection, analysis, and structuring of customer requirements, professional needs, and legal changes
Participation in deriving and describing product variants, epics, and features
Professional input and co-design of product concepts in close collaboration with Business Analysis, specialist departments, development, and architecture
Support in evaluating requirements regarding benefits, urgency, feasibility, and impact on existing products
Collaboration & Implementation
Close cooperation with agile development teams to support high-quality and timely implementation
Regular professional exchange with customers, Product Owners, Business Analysis, development, architecture, testing, and operations
Contribution to effective, solution-oriented collaboration across team and departmental boundaries
Support in preparing, accompanying, and following up on coordination with specialist committees and relevant stakeholders
Why you succeed
Completed higher education (HF/FH/University) in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification
Initial experience in product management, business analysis, project management, or a comparable role in the digital environment
Basic knowledge of agile product development; experience with Scrum or SAFe® is an advantage
Interest in complex professional, organisational, and technical contexts
Analytical, structured working style and enjoyment in familiarising yourself with new topics
Strong customer and solution orientation as well as a high quality awareness
Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse stakeholders
Very good German skills, additional national languages are an advantage
