Job Description
The IT Project Manager — ERP & Digital Systems is both the guarantor of the proper functioning of all operational and digital systems at Nescens, and the project leader for structuring IT initiatives. He/she administers, configures and develops the technology stack; in particular Microsoft Business Central, for which he/she ensures functional and technical mastery; manages development and integration projects end-to-end, and intervenes first-hand when a malfunction impacts operations. His/her technical grounding is accompanied by a concrete understanding of e-commerce and CRM issues: he/she knows that behind every system there is a transaction, a customer or a marketing action to activate.
Responsibilities
IT Project Management
- Manage end-to-end the structuring IT projects of Nescens: application development, B2B platform launch, payment system integration, connections with logistics platforms
- Frame projects: define needs, write functional specifications, select and coordinate technical providers, monitor developments, testing and deployment
- Manage priorities, deadlines and project risks while ensuring regular communication with internal stakeholders
- Ensure technological watch and propose solutions adapted to Nescens’ operational and commercial needs
Microsoft Business Central — administration and development
- Ensure functional mastery and administration of Business Central as Nescens’ central ERP: business configuration, management of entities (customers, suppliers, items, accounting), workflow and report configuration, rights and user management
- Perform customisations and light developments in AL (Business Central language): extensions, report modifications, workflow automations, interface adaptations, to limit systematic recourse to external providers
- Manage platform updates and evolutions, ensuring compatibility with existing extensions and integrations
- Be the internal reference for all BC-related questions for finance, commerce and operations teams
Integration and operational continuity
- Design and maintain data flows between systems (stock, orders, payments, contacts) to ensure information consistency across all platforms
- Configure and maintain other ecosystem platforms (Salesforce, Shopify, Adyen, Klaviyo, Storyblok) according to operational and commercial needs
- Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in real time, intervening directly on configurations or coordinating fixes with technical providers
- Implement monitoring and alert procedures to anticipate incidents before they affect operations or customer experience
CRM, e-commerce support and agency coordination
- Ensure proper functioning of CRM tools (Salesforce, Klaviyo) and e-commerce (Shopify, Adyen) to enable marketing actions, smooth purchase journeys and reliable payments
- Identify and correct technical friction points impacting conversion or customer experience
- Be the internal reference contact for the digital agency in charge of content management, paid media and SEO: challenge their recommendations, ensure coherence with internal systems and validate developments before production deployment
Data quality and governance
- Guarantee data consistency, reliability and quality across all systems; proactively identify and correct anomalies
- Ensure data and process compliance with GDPR requirements
- Document integration architectures, business rules and configurations to ensure consistency over time and facilitate diagnosis in case of incidents
Technology stack
Microsoft Business Central (central ERP) · Salesforce · Shopify · Adyen · Klaviyo · Microsoft Power BI
