Operations Manager, Sheet Metal Processing & Powder Coating 100% (Ticino)

Responsibilities

You will bear overall responsibility for the technical, production-related, and economic-organisational management of the company’s activities, with a primary focus on the powder coating area, the heart of the production process. The company is divided into three areas:

• Sheet metal processing up to 6 metres (aluminium, steel, and stainless steel)
• Industrial powder coating according to the latest standards
• Painting with water-based paints

Your tasks include:

• Technical supervision of production processes and plant management, including maintenance planning
• Quality control
• Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Setting and monitoring the budget, economic analyses, and periodic financial statements
• Production planning and optimisation of resources, time, and costs
• Maintaining customer relationships (quotations, invoicing, and debt collection)
• Material procurement
• Operational management of 15 employees

Requirements

• Technical knowledge; surface treatment and sheet metal processing
• Experience in managing industrial plants.
• You are an organisational talent and your coordination skills speak for themselves
• Commercial acumen and economic understanding
• You pay attention to quality and efficiency
• Very good knowledge of Italian
• The profile is rounded off by leadership strength and a pragmatic approach
