What is my role?

Shape the data network of the future.

With the AiNET programme, SBB is further developing its data network and creating the foundation for a stable and future-proof operation. New network technologies, systems and platforms are planned, procured and implemented for this purpose.

As Senior Project Manager Systems & Development AiNET, you take responsibility for several interconnected projects. You coordinate internal departments as well as external partners and ensure that complex requirements result in functioning solutions.

You work closely with architecture, development, engineering, infrastructure and operations. An important interface is the DAOT programme, which automates commissioning and provisioning and integrates them into the Multi Domain Service Orchestrator (MDSO).

Your tasks

• You plan and manage several projects and subprojects – from procurement to technical integration.

• You are responsible for deadlines, budget, quality, risks and results.

• You coordinate technical dependencies and ensure smooth collaboration among all parties involved.

• You lead interdisciplinary teams across organisational boundaries and create clarity in case of conflicting goals and decisions.

• You combine classical project management with agile approaches and work closely with programme management.

• You actively contribute to the further development of the product and service portfolio.

What do I need to be successful?

• Several years of experience in managing complex projects in a large corporate environment.

• Solid experience in classical as well as agile or hybrid project management.

• Strong leadership, communication and moderation skills.

• High personal responsibility, ability to structure and decisiveness.

• Degree in telecommunications, computer science or a comparable field.

• IPMA Level B or an equivalent certification is an advantage.

• Experience with SAFe, external partners and technical integration projects is an advantage.

• Knowledge of data networks, backbone technologies, network management or network automation is an advantage.

• Fluent German and English; French is an advantage.
