Managing Director / Operations Manager in the Wood Industry

Tasks

• You are ready to continuously maintain and strengthen the company philosophy of working together for customer-centred solutions. In doing so, you motivate employees by assigning demanding and responsible tasks
• You take over the operational and financial management of the company, always keeping an eye on costs, revenues and economic development
• In addition, you lead and develop the employees and are responsible for all personnel matters and personnel planning
• You coordinate and schedule ongoing orders, ensure smooth operational processes and also guarantee a functioning IT infrastructure
• You also maintain existing customer relationships and acquire new ones
• Furthermore, you ensure calculation and cost control and participate in project execution
• If you have the appropriate affinity, you can also further develop and actively shape the marketing and social media area

Requirements

• You have a basic craft training in the wood processing trade, ideally as a carpenter or joiner, as well as business or commercial further training
• Initial leadership experience as well as knowledge in project management, calculation and/or business organisation are expected
• You convince with high social competence and a respectful, professional approach to customers, suppliers and employees
• A proficient handling of common Office products, CAD applications and Abacus facilitates your daily work
• Important are good commercial understanding, entrepreneurial thinking and enjoyment of direct customer contact
