Speech therapy that goes beyond the therapy room
You want to make communication effective in the everyday lives of children and adolescents and apply your expertise in a versatile way? With us, you combine speech therapy, augmentative and alternative communication, and dysphagia in a varied school environment.
The visoparents Foundation runs the special school IFA (Intensive Support Autism, Cycle 1) in Dübendorf as well as the therapeutic day school in Oerlikon. In Dübendorf, you support children on the autism spectrum; in Oerlikon, children and adolescents with severe multiple disabilities.
To complete our team, we are looking for you.
Your tasks
- Individual and group therapies focusing on communication and communication initiation
- Assessment and support for dysphagia as well as advice on eating and drinking
- Close collaboration with specialists/responsible persons for augmentative and alternative communication and use and further development of AAC and communication aids
- Professional exchange and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team of therapists (occupational therapy, physiotherapy) and another speech therapist
- Consultation with parents, teachers, educators, and care staff
- Active participation in shaping the speech therapy offerings at both locations

- EDK-recognised training as a speech therapist
- Experience or interest in autism, severe multiple disabilities and/or dysphagia
