Within the Pension and Personal Insurance Solutions division, we are looking for a Senior Cobol Development Engineer on IBMi System (m/f/x) – 80%-100%, motivated, rigorous, and curious, ready to commit to demanding projects, eager to progress and actively contribute to the quality of delivered solutions.
We offer you to join the ST Benefits team, responsible for designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining benefits management solutions on the IBMi System. The team works on both Personal Insurance branches and those related to Property & Casualty Insurance (P&C).
The missions awaiting you:
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and team members to understand business needs and propose optimized and quality technical solutions.
- Contribute to all stages of the development cycle including design, documentation, breakdown, estimation, implementation, testing, delivery, and maintenance of solutions.
- Actively participate in team meetings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the team (architecture, testing, processes, performance, optimization).
Your profile:
- Technical skills (Hard skills)
- Higher education degree such as HES or EPF in computer science or equivalent
- Proven experience in Cobol programming on IBMi system
(AS/400, I-Series, System-I) and DB2 - Knowledge of RPG
- Experience in developing REST/SOAP APIs
- Experience with RDi and Arcad frameworks
- Excellent command of French and minimum B2 level in English

- Curiosity and desire to learn
- Ability to work in Agile mode (Scrum)
Additional assets:
- Experience in the insurance field
- Knowledge of version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Bitbucket)
- Experience in agile development and Scrum practice
- Knowledge of German is a plus
