About the job
Your experience remains valuable - even if you wish to reduce your professional hours.
You want to continue working in psychiatry and psychotherapy but no longer full-time? In a nature-oriented psychosomatic private clinic in the Canton of Schaffhausen, a part-time role awaits you within an interdisciplinary team. Even after the regular retirement age.
Here you will find a psychosomatic private clinic in the rural Schaffhauser Klettgau, near the German border. In a quiet, nature-connected environment, it supports people with mental and psychosomatic illnesses.
The multiprofessional team of psychology, nursing, and other therapeutic specialists works with an already developed, holistic treatment concept. This combines psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatment with resource-oriented approaches as well as elements of mindfulness, connection to nature, and self-reflection.
We are looking for an experienced professional who supports this approach professionally, contributes their clinical experience, and enjoys accompanying people in challenging life situations.
Your tasks:
- Psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care of patients with mental and psychosomatic illnesses
- Conducting psychiatric assessments, diagnostics, and individual treatment planning
- Conducting individual and group therapies within the existing treatment concept
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with psychology, nursing, and other therapeutic professionals
- Participation in case discussions and professional exchange within the treatment team
Your competencies:
- Specialist title in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy FMH or a federally recognised equivalent qualification
- Fulfilment of the requirements for the professional practice licence (BAB) and approval for billing under the compulsory health insurance (OKP) in the Canton of Schaffhausen, in particular at least three years of work in the specialty at a recognised Swiss training institution
- Many years of psychiatric and psychotherapeutic professional experience as well as an independent, responsible working style
- Openness to a holistic, nature-connected, and mindfulness-oriented therapeutic approach as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Empathetic, appreciative communication and willingness to work within an existing therapeutic concept
Your benefits:
- Part-time workload up to maximum 50%: A suitable opportunity to remain professionally active even in a later career phase
- Attractive remuneration: Up to CHF 150,000 annual salary on a 100% basis, corresponding to up to CHF 75,000 at 50% employment
- Manageable workload: 42-hour week on a full-time basis, corresponding to 21 hours per week at 50%
- 24 days of holiday on a full-time basis: Holiday entitlement corresponding to the agreed workload and distribution of working days
- Nature-oriented workplace: Psychosomatic clinic setting in a rural environment on a farm
- Professional exchange: Collaboration with a multiprofessional treatment team and structured induction
- Proven treatment concept: You contribute your medical experience without having to take on the task of developing a new therapy concept
