The Structural Engineering and Properties Department fulfils the tasks of the municipal building permit authority. It reviews building applications, coordinates the approval process, and ensures that construction projects comply with legal requirements. Furthermore, it plans, maintains, and develops the municipality's buildings and ensures professional management of the properties.

Your tasks
- Independent processing of notification procedures
- Process support for municipal building applications in the GemDat system in collaboration with the structural engineering specialist
- Providing information and advice by phone and at the counter
- Participation in the preparation and follow-up of building commission meetings
- Management and updating of municipal GIS, databases, statistics, directories, and inventories
- Supervision of commercial apprentices as a practical trainer
Your profile
- Commercial basic training, preferably in public administration and/or construction
- Experience in a comparable role or in building law
- Good spatial imagination regarding reading building plans and a flair for technology
- Enjoyment of direct customer contact (counter and telephone)
- Independent, precise, and reliable working style as well as a quick grasp
- Team spirit and willingness to help
- Very good oral and written expression in German
- Solid IT user skills (MS Office and preferably GemDat) and interest in digital work processes
- Experience in training apprentices as a practical trainer is an advantage
