We are looking for an outstanding Dean to shape the future of our academic programs.
The Dean provides hands-on leadership to deliver a student-focused academic experience. The Dean is a visible presence in the daily life of the school, engaging with students and faculty, nurturing academic partnerships, and representing the institution to parents, agents, industry partners, and the wider community. The Dean oversees all academic activities, develops faculty, and ensures effective communication across the campus.
Academic & Administration Leadership·
- Ensure academic programs remain relevant, engaging, and industry-focused.
- Maintain a visible presence on campus, meeting with students individually and in groups to understand progress, challenges, and aspirations.
- Maintain accurate student data for decision-making and reporting purposes.
- Represent the college at academic and industry events, including the International Recruitment Forum (IRF).· Chair academic meetings, examination boards, and disciplinary committees.
- Manage and monitor the academic budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively and financial objectives are met.
External Relations & Marketing Support
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to ensure accurate and innovative academic content, and alignment with positioning.
- Work in partnership with the Sales team to support enrolment efforts, including participation in webinars, interviews, and information sessions for potential students.
- Act as a key representative in open days, campus tours, and other promotional activities.
- Meet regularly with agents, parents, and corporate office representatives to share updates and build trust.
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries from prospective students, parents, and partners.
- Strengthen and maintain relationships with academic partners and external examiners.
Faculty Development & Management
- Lead, mentor, and appraise faculty to support professional growth and ensure high-quality teaching.
- Communicate key institutional priorities (emerging trends, AI) and ensure faculty are informed.
- Identify faculty resource needs, oversee recruitment, and support onboarding.
Research / Academic Development
- Support the development of a research culture on campus appropriate to the small-college context.

Relevant Experience
- Phd or Master’s degree in a relevant academic discipline.
- At least 7 years’ higher education teaching and academic leadership experience.
- Proven track record in managing academic teams, curriculum development, and quality assurance.
- Experience in managing and monitoring budgets.
- International higher education leadership experience.
