About the job
Würth AG supplies craftsmen from all trades with quality products and coordinated system solutions for workshops, storage, and on the go. The versatile range includes over 150,000 items: from screws, dowels, and fittings to tools, machines, chemical-technical products, and occupational safety, as well as vehicle fittings and warehouse management. Established since 1945 and based in Switzerland since 1962, Würth AG offers customised solutions aimed at making everyday life easier for its partners. Würth AG, headquartered in Arlesheim (BL), is a company within the globally active Würth Group.
On the largest construction sites in the Bern region, it is decided who truly counts as a partner. As a project salesperson in construction site project management, you are the central Würth contact directly on the construction site. You develop large projects holistically across all trades, identify potentials early, and coordinate specialists, logistics, and system solutions – so that Würth is perceived as the preferred solution and system partner on the largest construction sites in Switzerland. Simply. Better. Building.
Tasks
- You manage the largest construction projects in the Bern region with a focus on construction volumes from CHF 50 million and develop up to 30 projects holistically.
- You are the central Würth contact on the construction site and develop all trades throughout the entire project – without your own regular customers, with 100% focus on the potentials of your large projects.
- You actively develop all relevant contacts on the project (construction site) – from site managers, project leaders, and foremen to responsible fitters, purchasing, and safety officers.
- You identify potentials early, convincingly position our focus topics (dowel technology, fire protection, timber construction, building technology, construction site logistics), and create measurable added value.
- As the central hub, you coordinate specialists, logistics, and system solutions and work closely with key account managers and the salespeople of the affected regular customers.
- You document transparently and comprehensibly in Speedy, plan your week at least two weeks in advance in Outlook, and record strategies, projects, and measures in Teams.
- You consistently follow up on agreed measures and thus ensure the maximum exploitation of all potentials on the construction project.
Requirements
- You have several years of experience in construction site or project sales or possess sound technical know-how from the construction environment – it is crucial that you understand how large projects and procurement processes work on the construction site.
- You understand several trades and are enthusiastic about technical system and logistics solutions in the construction environment.
- Ideally, you have an existing network in the construction industry of the Bern region and actively expand it with your own initiative.
- You communicate confidently at all levels – from foreman to management – and convince with your appearance, expertise, and personality.
- You work proactively, structured, and independently, think entrepreneurially and solution-oriented, and handle digital systems (Speedy, Outlook, Teams, To Do) confidently.
- You bring humour, positivity, and motivation and are eager to make a difference together with the team.
- You have very good German language skills in spoken and written form; knowledge of French is advantageous for the Bern region, and you hold a category B driving licence.
We offer
- A key role on the largest construction sites in the region – with high personal responsibility and plenty of scope for creativity.
- An exciting and challenging role in a dynamic, growing environment.
- Intensive and structured onboarding with practical training, targeted product training, and an experienced team at your side.
- A trusting and family-like working atmosphere with flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and a pronounced feedback culture.
- A competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package (company car for business and private use, flat-rate expense allowance, notebook, fitness contribution, and much more).
